We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President  – Finance Systems


Principal responsibilities


  • Ensuring the creation and updating of required accounting documentation following the Group and local requirements
  • Ensuring the reliability of accounting data repository Platon (GOCA, GRCA, PCEC referential basis of financial reporting) through relevant analyzes and controls
  • Understanding statutory and regulatory requirements and accounting policy to be able to implement relevant product(s) in related operating system
  • Keeping abreast of new regulatory needs and Group requirements
  • Management of local and group chart of accounts of HBCE entities
  • Work closely with Tax and Accounting policy team to ensure requirements are well integrated in accounting documentation
  • Working with upstream and downstream system and business teams for change implementation & Participating in projects implementing new standards or regulations
  • Take a proactive approach to own development by seeking performance feedback and coaching, setting.
  • Work flexibly in a fast moving, agile and changing project environment, continually assessing priorities, progress, dependencies, issues, and risks, and adjusting course or escalating where necessary.
  • The jobholder will also continually reassess the operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technology.
