ReThe Business Sr. Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.
Responsibilties-
Collaborate across the teams managing portfolios for Software management, Third Party management, Scorecard, Application management, sourcing teams and be the point of contact for all in case of any escalations.
Support annual software budget process ($ 30 - $50MM) while working closely with the Software Asset Management team, clients and portfolio managers.
Serve as a business partner to Finance, Human Resources, Vendor Management, the Staffing Office and Technology
Participating in and providing support for significant Technology ad-hoc projects.
Review and validation of financial forecast, accruals, variance analysis– adjust forecast as necessary adapting to changing business requirements and priorities.
Setting up requests in Renault, ensure PTS, Renault, Accruals, Actuals are in sync on monthly basis.
Collaborate continuously with Tech teams/ Business teams to align allocations and contractual expense to software products
Provide continuous improvement and automation of operational processes and procedures to increase efficiency and corresponding documentation
Collaborate with Procurement, Third party Management team, Software management group, Vendor and Tech managers to ensure all contracts are being executed/ renewed in time and invoices paid in time.
Green and Blue dollar management: monitor monthly green dollar expenditures, Chargebacks, review accruals on a monthly basis for accuracy and completeness
Provide reports and analyses to senior managers to identify savings/re-balancing opportunities and support for strategic planning.
Monitor program spend progress to ensure appropriate financial management and adherence to budget
Qualifications:
5-10 years of experience in financial markets business.
Analytical skills to present meaningful information to senior management for decision making
Ability to handle multiple tasks and effectively manage through changing priorities in a dynamic environment
The candidate must demonstrate energy and dedication, be goal-oriented and self-sufficient.
Strong organizational and follow-up skills - follow through and adjust as needed to complete project with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated expertise of Microsoft Office product suite; basic macro coding experience and proficiency in Microsoft Access and PowerPoint preferred
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, Masters degree preferred
