We’re looking for a Assistant Software Engineer to join our OEM R&D team in Bangalore. You will be working alongside with other engineers on testing of LED drivers and lighting control devices.

As the Assistant Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated tests. Through test automation you aim to optimize testing by increasing efficiency, speed, and accuracy, improving test coverage, and enhancing software quality.

What you’ll do


  • Develop, implement, and maintain test plans and procedures for various products developed based on requirements.
  • Perform testing and validation of hardware products using a variety of test equipment and tools.
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and provide solutions for improvements.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure test coverage and product quality.
  • Contribute to the development of C# programming concepts to support test automation
     

What you’ll need


  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, with 2-3 years of relevant work experience in Verification & Validation of an integrated product/system, physical layer testing and knowledge in understanding hardware design.
  • Experience in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers and data sniffing tools; good understanding of any physical layer protocol.
  • Experience with C# and Python
  • Ability to troubleshoot and provide solutions for issues found.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork
