Assistant Revenue Accountant - India, Chennai - Hybrid

We are currently seeking an Assistant Revenue Accountant to join our diverse and dynamic team. As an Assistant Revenue Accountant at ICON, you will play a pivotal role in managing revenue recognition processes, analyzing financial data, and contributing to the financial health and growth of our organization.


What you will be doing:


  • Assisting in the preparation of revenue forecasts and budgets.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition.
  • Conducting financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end close processes related to revenue.
  • Participating in the implementation and enhancement of revenue accounting systems and procedures.

Your profile:


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in revenue accounting or related financial role.
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles (ASC 606).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members across departments.
