ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Primary Position Objectives
Overall responsibility of CFS Transport & Distribution. Key responsibilities
- To oversee movements to and from the Port.
- To coordinate with service providers for PNR, PN-45, Annexure IV, Enblock, and Bond recredit with customs.
- To coordinate with the team to generate DRF/Form-13 on time.
- To coordinate with the terminal for dispatching containers with priority.
- To track import containers terminal-wise and CFS-wise to avoid storage charges.
- To ensure the dispatch of containers from the port to CFS within the free period.
- To prioritize the placement of our own trailers and use market vehicles only when necessary.
- To minimize the engagement of market vehicles by coordinating with the CFS-Transport team and advocating for the use of more own vehicles.
- To coordinate with port staff for faster dispatches.
- To provide a daily report on PNR movement, terminal-wise, vessel-wise, and CFS-wise pendency.
- To coordinate with movement staff and ensure increased turnaround of trailer trips.
- To conduct periodic inspections of trailers in operating areas.
- To coordinate with vendors to receive their bills on time and verify and certify them for payment.
- To maintain a cordial liaison with port officials, especially with the traffic department, and resolve any issues that occur inside the port.
- All safety protocols are to be strictly followed as per DPW standards.

- Ensuring 100% OTM adoption for trips performed by our own vehicles and market vehicles
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
- Graduate with 07 to 16 + years experince in Transport & distribution.
- Good communication and interpresonal skills.
- Team handling exposure of 07+ years.
- Good knowledge of health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
- Effective planning and organisational skills.
- Should be self starter, and go beyond the boundaries to meet the business objectives.
