About the role Location: Bangalore
Reporting to: Supply Chain Lead- IS
The role will require to coordinate and monitor the transfer of goods and materials from our manufacturing plants all the way through to our export customers. It will require to coordinate between demand planning, supply planning, material call-off and export customer service across regions. The role will require to strengthen export supply chain and to monitor progress against established KPIs / targets, while supporting the team in meeting their goals and targets.
Key responsibilities
- Set supply chain strategic direction and objectives for the manufacturing sites and warehouses in conjunction with business strategy.
- Responsible for RM/PM Planning & Finished Goods planning/availability for Kerry India for export customers.
- Review, redesign and optimize supply model. Maintain reorder levels for RM/PM/FG & necessary correction to manage seasonality/spikes balancing inventory and service.
- Work closely with production sites on capacity debottlenecking, enhancements, establishing MOQs, business terms and ways of workings.
- Manage SC KPIs like On time in full, Stock at risk, Write-Off, Inventory & rush freight cost
- Liaise with relevant internal functions (Sales, Production, Demand Planner, R&D, QA) & external parties, (forwarder, shipping, government related authorities such as Customs, Commercial Chamber) on Supply Chain related activities.
- Ensure Demand, Supply Planning & Production Planning process to meet export supply plan with optimal inventory control level.
- Align with cross-functional team to achieve supply within quality, cost and agreed turnaround time.
- Manage India inventory and ensure efficient storage and movement of material (Raw Material and Finished Goods)
- Drive projects in coordination with production sites to improve service levels.
Qualifications and skills Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in Supply Chain role with at least 3 years’ experience in export supply chain
- Preference for someone with Food & Beverage, Food Service or Ingredients / Flavour, industry experience.
- Have worked in production planning and export logistics.
- Good understanding of Food Management System, and Safety Environment Management System
- Additional exposure on Demand planning, S&OP, EXIM, and logistics will be advantage.
- Hands on experience in SAP & APO. Knowledge on MRP is must
