Job Description

Primary Purpose of Job:


  • Manage Supplier Qualification.
  • Manage resource in new product development.
  • Manage Production Assurance (Pre-shipment Inspection/ Process audit) and Problem Solving
  • (CAP).
  • Manage internal customer complaint and warranty follow up.
  • Lead continues improvement internally (GSC) and externally (supplier side).
  • Lead engineering issue and Lean 6 Sigma project follow up

Major Responsibilities:


  • Resourcing & New Product developments approval processing by Using SPPAP tools
  • Rich hands-on experience in Die Casting, Forging, powder coating, ED Coating all kind of plating & Machining , heat Treatment CQI9 process
  • Good Measurement skills & GD&T knowledge’s
  • Sound knowledge in SPC, APQP, DOE, QC STORY
  • Supplier Health check-up SQA, Process audit and Ranking A, B & C improvements
  • New and existing parts ECN / REA approval by auditing process through with specific check sheets
  • Production parts concerns support and Problem solving through 8D/QC Story approach.
  • SPC /MSA monitoring and improvements for non-achieved parameters by MINITAB tools
  • Supplier selections and Quality systems improvements
  • CFT approach for chronicle concerns and closures 
  • PPM improvements by placing robust actions at supplier end through High-risk supplier special Activities progress
  • Monthly High-risk supplier progress & improvement presentation to Senior managements for Low-risk conversion
  • New projects co coordinator with global team and ensuring proper Ramp up for smooth Operations 
  • 4M Change for process improvements actions
  • Supplier PPM Monitoring and improvement actions
  • Supplier coordination for corrective actions and improvement actions
  • Engineering changes request and implementation.
  • DPMO Audit and Packaging audit at Supplier premises periodically
  • Co. ordinate with other global departments for all technical and design activities.
  • Hard Working, Team Worker, Willing to Travel, fluent English (Written & Verbal)

Requirements:


  • University/ college in Mechanical/ Electronic Engineering related
  • + 10 year working experience in quality control function and new product development
  • Familiar with common international certification (ISO9000, QS9000, TS16949, SA8000).
  • Require Audit Skill to conduct Supper Qualification Audit, Sustainability and Social
  • Accountability Audit to the supplier side
  • Be able to Microsoft Office (EXCEL, WORD, OUTLOOK)
  • Fluent English
  • Problem Solving Skill (PDCA, 5W, 8D, Lean 6 Sigma, SPC)
  • Project Management
  • Ability of using SAP, Minitab a plus
