So, join our Global Procurement team and feel like you’re part of something bigger.About your teamFidelity Global Procurement comprises approximately 120 employees based across India, UK, Continental Europe, and Asia Pacific. The team manages approximately $700m of spend split between technology and non-technology categories. Currently the team is undertaking a global transformation programme to deliver an improved Procurement user experience, simpler and more efficient Procurement processes and consistent and accurate Procurement related data. The transformation will drive significant changes to ways of working within and outside Procurement and will implement multiple new technology platforms.About your roleThe Transformation Assistant Manager– Procurement Transformation will be responsible for delivering key projects across Procurement.The role will require an understanding of end to end procurement functions and processes, experience in project management, and  the ability to design and deploy technology led new and enhanced processes to achieve defined benefits and outcomes.
  • Design and deploy new and enhanced technology led solutions and processes that will improve Procurement outcomes
    • Identify process and technology improvement opportunities
    • Work collaboratively with stakeholders and Procurement colleagues to understand business requirements, define process / technology solutions and to deliver improvements and enhancements
  • Maximise positive outcomes from the SaaS product estate within Procurement
    • Maximise use of SaaS technologies within Procurement to drive better outcomes and efficiencies
    • Engage with SaaS vendors to understand and influence development roadmaps
    • Create and maintain a documentation library for SaaS products
    • Work with SaaS platform users to identify improvement opportunities
    • Conduct user awareness / training on SaaS tools as needed
  • Manage a portfolio of transformation projects across Procurement
    • Develop project delivery plans and resources required
    • Monitor and report project status, budgets, risks, issues and mitigation strategies
    • Ensure timely and effective communication with all project stakeholders within defined governance processes throughout the project lifecycle
    • Use appropriate tools and techniques to monitor the progress of the project and changes to the scope and schedule.
    • Identify project problems and determine solution options, such as allocation of resources, or tool enhancement
About You
  • MBA/BBA and/or B.Tech Graduate
  • 6+ years of experience in the Procurement domain with a good knowledge of Procurement related processes and functions that may include Sourcing, Supplier Management, Contract Management, Purchase to Pay, Third Party risk management, Due diligence, Supplier onboarding
  • 6+ years of experience in Procurement technology implementation. Experience with SaaS tooling is a plus.
  • Strong track record of delivering positive business outcomes through process and technology enhancements
  • Awareness of risk management concepts and processes, ideally in FS or other regulated industry
  • Ability to manage stakeholders through requirements gathering, and to effectively communicate how requirements will be accommodated in a technical solution
  • Ability to positively challenge stakeholders when necessary, and to identify alternative solutons when needed
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate complex issues simply.
  • Technical mindset, and a natural interest in and aptitude for learning about new tools and systems
  • Willingness to learn, and evidence of building and applying knowledge
  • An understanding of change management practices including governance, project management, planning, communications etc
  • Experience in process mapping and analysis
  • Good organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently if necessary
  • Ability to work in a global environment with people across the globe in different time zones and with different cultures
  • Flexibility and an open attitude to change
