Markets and Securities Services offers a range of fund administration, global custody, sub-custody and clearing services.


We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the Markets and Securities Services Operations team.


Principal Job Description :


  • The role is within the Settlements Team that manages the Client Trade Processing , Trade Settlement , Client Reporting and responding to client queries.
  • The role will be responsible for providing support for Regional and Regulatory Projects in the Settlements team. This will include being part of meeting with IT and conducting UAT on systems
  • Manage and/or assist in processing of Equity Settlement related transactions and processes like Trade matching,confirmationand Settlementfor Foreign Institutions as well as Domestic clients.
  • Maintain and enhance relationship with external parties, brokers ,exchanges , depositories and other units within DCC.
  • Adhering to Service Level Agreements and Operational Memorandum committed to clients, external parties and internal units.
  • Timely escalation of situations wherein the normal process steps might need to be diverted from.
  • Accurate processing / checking / authorization of various Settlementrelated transaction processing. Due attention should be paid to accuracy / timeliness of completion of process / transaction within the client TATs agreed in the SLAs and ensure no client complaints.
  • Back-up for other officers in the section / Assist other officers by learning various desk jobs to ensure continuous movement of process.
  • Contribute towards improvement of productivity of self and team.
  • Maintaining a good relationship with internal customers like Client Service team, other units within DCC and bank.Ensuring internal deadlines are met to meet the overall objective of ensuring excellent service to clients.
  • Maintaining HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy and maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring
