Job Title - Assistant Manager - OBU Insights & Analytics

Introduction to role


Are you ready to lead a dynamic team of Business Intelligence and Data Modelling analysts? As the Assistant Manager for OBU Insights & Analytics, you will develop a team that uses data modelling and BI tools to provide insights into the performance of our operations and suggest optimization methods. You will implement and be responsible for analytical approaches and methodologies, communicating insights and recommendations to collaborators for decision-making and planning. With high expectations for quality and efficiency from GBS and business collaborators, you must adeptly prioritise while ensuring timely and high-quality results. Your role will also involve developing your team to achieve outstanding levels of quality and performance. High accountability and results orientation are critical, along with the ability to leverage various leadership styles to foster a high-performing and highly engaged team.


Accountabilities
  • Collect business requirements and ask probing questions to fully understand business needs and how they relate to key performance measurements.


  • Build, maintain, and interpret dashboards and reports, including long-term trends, campaign and/or page performance, and customer segments.


  • Lead and develop a team of data analysts.


  • Oversee all analytics operations to correct discrepancies and ensure quality.


  • Lead monthly governance meetings and represent the measurement team at collaborator meetings.


  • Coordinate with different teams/collaborators to ensure any major incidents are managed professionally.


  • Ensure completion of all services in accordance with global compliance, market legal, and regulatory requirements within GCO budget guidelines.


  • Conduct all aspects of human resources processes, including development of annual objectives, performance appraisals, individual development plans, and career counselling and coaching feedback for continuous improvement.


Essential Skills/Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent


  • 5-9+ years’ experience working in Visualisation, Business Intelligence, Data modelling, and Business Services, preferably in Life Sciences Industry.


  • 5+ years of leadership experience, preferably leading, managing, and developing large teams of professionals.


  • 5+ years of experience in customer-facing operations environment.


  • Experience working with multiple 3rd party providers, including information technology partners.


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills.


  • Strong collaboration skills with demonstrated experience building positive relationships with key stakeholders. Confirmed cross-functional collaboration skills across organizations, functions, and markets are preferred.


  • Proactive approach to problem-solving.


  • Proven ability to learn in a constantly evolving environment. Ability to grasp and understand new technology and concepts quickly and readily apply findings.


  • Experience working in a globally distributed team.


Desirable Skills/Experience
  • Pharmaceutical experience or other highly-regulated environment.


  • Oncology Business experience.


  • Talent management and developing others.


  • Consistent record working cross-functionally with a high level of commitment and follow-through.
