Job Description

You are responsible to drive excellence within the Medical Team by providing framework towards medical operations, effective usage of medical-led systems (including VEEVA, GMIP, ATLAS/Promo mats, etc), providing comprehensive medical information service, tracking medical KPIs and effectively co-ordinating for medical training, including new recruit induction, owning, managing and updating medical SOPs in a timely manner and applying uniform standards across the various therapy areas. Enable a highly cohesive medical team to drive scientific leadership across the various therapy areas.

Key Duties and Accountabilities

• Provide excellence in technical support for products by input to medical activities
• Evaluate and introduce industry leading technologies and standards such that AstraZeneca achieves a competitive advantage in customer service in the medical capability area.
• Support cross-functional team working across the Medical & Regulatory Affairs directorate and the business.
• Proactively seek ideas for Science Club and aid the manager in designing and delivering the theme of ‘science led organisation’
• Assist the Manager- Medical Excellence in building scientific capabilities of medical team by regular literature searches and sharing with respective stakeholders to drive “ahead of curve” skills
•  Monitor, assess and follow up on the mandatory & non-mandatory training status of new recruits in the areas of responsibility, as required
• Evaluate and report data on learner experience and provide suggestions and update the learning systems anticipating future needs.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science background. Medical Graduates Preffered
• 3 years experience in the pharmaceutical/life sciences  industry
• Ability to build stakeholder engagement
• Ability to work efficiently across cross-functional teams
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Strong command on MS Office applications and technical skills

Desirable Requirements

• Prior experience in Technical support team
• Proficiency in developing learning curriculum
