About the Role:


Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS), India is looking for a Assistant Manager, Finance  to work closely with Business and Finance leadership.This position will play a key support role to Regional Finance Leader & LOB Finance Leaders in providing overall insight into Financial & Business performance. The position will represent the HBS business in interacting and closing efforts on Internal and external audits. The position plays a key role in facilitating operational and system related actions for the business.


Specifically, the successful candidate will be responsible for all FP&A Matters of HBS business of India ensuring robust analysis and overview to management on Financials performance on a weekly / monthly and quarterly basis. The role will actively support the overall AOP (Annual budget exercise), STRAP (long term plans) and periodical forecast process and ensure that solid midterm and short-range outlooks are provided. This role will also closely partner with the other business functions viz; Controllership, Marketing, Sales, Factory, etc.


Key Responsibilities:


·Partners Services Region General Manager (RGM) and Honeywell Business Solutions (HBS) India Finance Leader in driving growth for Services business as key member of leadership team


·Partner business and operation teams in the creation and execution of India business strategy.As a strategic part of the Services India leadership team, plan and formulate long and short-range business and financial objectives and goals, policies, and programs.


·Closely work with RGM & India Leadership and provide strategic as well as tactical inputs for driving AOP (Yearly Budgets) & STRAP (Multi Year Budgets) Financials.


·Drive rigorous and transparent financial reporting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis, closing processes and budgeting for India operations to enable and provide input for optimal business planning decisions.


·Work closely with HAIL and Internal Audit teams for Services related process improvements and queries for Statutory and other audits.


·Responsible for various financial analysis duties supporting the Customer-to-Cash Cycle i.e. Order reviews, bid approvals, Revenue Chain, analysis of trade receivables, Bad Debts tracking, cash receipts and related process metrics.


·Review & Approve Bids in terms of customer, margin, service prospect etc.


·Be a key part of regular Monthly Financial Review, Project / EAC Reviews, AR / Unbilled / Inventory / AP Reviews, Balance Sheet review, identify Risks & Opportunities and take action accordingly.


·Closely coordinate with revenue chain and India Leaders for resolution of customer and business process issues to meet the committed forecasts.


·Help to Implement initiatives to drive Working Capital improvements. Drive working capital beyond controlling AR.


·Drive specific initiatives around Pricing, Book & Bill requirement analysis, Contract Renewals, Service Conversion etc.


·Assist RGM in preparation of business reviews and presentations to senior Leadership.


·Ensure compliance with all relevant financial policies.


·Being a part of listed entity, need to ensure that all audit queries wrt business & operations are resolved timely.


You must have:


·Understanding of project/services environment


·Self-motivated, self-starter, and results oriented individual.


·Proficient in SAP, Hyperion, Excel, and PowerPoint. 


·Hands on experience in the area of financial planning & Analysis & experience in dealing with outside India office / Global Finance team.


·Working knowledge of US GAAP, SOX Compliance


·Strong business acumen and good problem solving and analytical skills.


·Comfortable with continuous changes in the work environment.  Works well under pressure, with a sense of urgency, and able to meet tight deadlines.


·Adept at prioritizing work and coordinating tasks simultaneously.


·Able to prepare and present complex data in a simple, understandable manner.


·Strong analysis skills, with ability to apply good judgment to business planning and annual planning processes.


·Ability to initiate and lead projects/teams, drive actions, and provide recommendations for decision making.


·Ability to develop strong partnership/teambuilding relationships with operations staff.


·Strong written and verbal communication skills


·Strong inter-personal skills, with ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.  Demonstrated excellent teamwork qualities in a diverse and demanding environment.


·Proactively questions current practices, ability to identify root cause and corrective actions and drive improvements.


·Ability to learn quickly and improve processes.


Basic Qualifications:


·CA/ICWAI/CPA/CMA with 8+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance with strong knowledge of Commercial / Operations finance & Financial Planning & Analysis.


·Stakeholders.


·Strong knowledge on advanced excel skills.
