Assistant Manager - Finance

Job Description:


1. Supervise / manage overall accounting function for the financial accounting team. 
2. Prepare necessary workings / files for statutory audit, internal audit, etc. and liaise with auditors
3. Co-ordinate with the entire finance team at the time of year end audit;
4. To assist in timely and accurate month end book closure
5. To maintain the books of accounts and verify correctness of entries
6. To assist in preparation of Annual Accounts as per Indian GAAP including notes to accounts
7. Prepare month end and year-end financial reporting / reports to Group Finance
8. Prepare various reports for the senior management team and Group at the end of the year to analyze the financials of the company;
9. Provide technical support to financial accounting team for resolving queries and manage escalations;
10. Initiate and manage tax audits and statutory audits and liaise with the external auditors;
11. Manage internal controls, identify gaps / deficiencies, suggest improvements, liaise with external auditor
12. Handle various tax and regulatory compliances;
13. Prepare tax computations and WHT workings and ensure payouts and timely filings.
14. Prepare required documentation for tax related assessments, filings, submissions, replies to tax authorities and liaise with tax consultants
15. Supervise overall budget for capital projects and inform management for any deviations
16. Prepare process wise profitability reports for tax purposes.
