Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of these operations, meeting compliance standards, and driving the teams toward excellence.Designation: Assistant Manager- Feeder Operations - Global Service CentreBase Location: Navi MumbaiReporting to: ManagerKey Role Responsibilities: Lead and motivate teams to achieve operational excellence in updating financial statements and managing finance-related tasks, as well as handling documentation for vessels arriving into ports. Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing constructive feedback and implementing strategies for continuous improvement. Coordinate workflows and allocate resources efficiently to meet deadlines and operational goals. Ensure strict adherence to regulatory compliance standards in both finance and maritime documentation processes. Identify and implement process optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the teams. Facilitate effective communication between team members, ensuring seamless collaboration and information flow. Good knowledge of Import and export business (shipping/logistics/NVOCC) along with expertise in Documentation processes. Provide training and development opportunities to team members, fostering their professional growth and skill enhancement. Address and resolve escalated issues, working closely with team members to implement corrective actions. Generate and analyze regular reports on team performance, identifying key metrics and areas for improvement. Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans to align team objectives with overall organizational goals.Direct reports 10-15Skills & Competencies:   Should have good communication skill in English and must have good proficiency in Email Writing skills. Problem solving, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to work in Shifts as per allocated roster and Country to work, fine to work in night shift as well.Education & Qualification :  Minimum 5+ years of experience in shipping industry with a reputed shipping/logistics organization.
