We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Manager Counterparty Credit Risk
Principal responsibilities
- Assist in evaluating the creditworthiness of counterparties, including banks, financial institutions, corporates, and other entities.
- Support in performing quantitative and qualitative analysis of counterparty financials and risk profiles.
- Monitor counterparty credit exposure limits under the guidance of senior team members.
- Assist in analyzing the potential impact of market events on counterparty exposures.
- Collaborate with front office, legal, and compliance teams to ensure adherence to credit risk policies.
- Prepare initial drafts of credit risk reports for senior management and regulatory bodies. Maintain accurate records of counterparty risk assessments and exposures.
- Provide support in presenting insights and recommendations to improve the firm’s counterparty credit risk management framework.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including Basel III/IV, Dodd-Frank, and other applicable regulations.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new risk management systems and methodologies under senior supervision.
