Location: APMT - Gateway Terminal India (GTI), Mumbai


APM Terminals Mumbai also known as Gateway Terminals India (GTI) is part of APM Terminals global ports/terminal network. It is a joint venture between APM Terminals and the Container Corporation of India (CONCOR-A Government Of India undertaking).


APM Terminals Mumbai is one of the five container terminals operating from Nhava Sheva's Jawaharlal Nehru Port (JNPT) having procured a 30 years license from the Port to provide container handling services at its facility.


APM Terminals Mumbai was the first Indian container terminal to offer paperless transactions for both exports and imports through E-Form 13, and online customs endorsements.  This simplifies and streamlines export and import operations to reduce gate waiting time and congestion and enable faster container movements into and out of the terminal.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager in Administration with a strong background in the hospitality industry, particularly in kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of relevant experience, excellent communication skills in both Marathi and English, and a solid command of MS Office (Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). A pleasant personality, team-oriented mindset, and a service-focused approach are essential qualities for success in this role. Areas of Control:


  • Contract management – Catering facility
  • Pantries in office buildings / yards
  • Pest control facility
  • Control and Management of all assets within the scope of administration
  • Vehicle & accommodation arrangements for employees & guests

Key Responsibilities:


  • Ensure canteen operates at optimal capacity with maintained food quality.
  • Good hygiene standards in kitchen and canteen, pantries etc.
  • Testing of every food before to serve, while on duty.
  • Routine upkeep, maintenance, and repairs of canteen equipment.
  • Coordination with other departments as & when required.
  • Verification & processing of bills submitted by the contractor.
  • Redressal of complaints/ suggestions received from facility user employees.
  • Preparation of MIS Reports.
  • Resource management and allocation on daily basis.
  • Cost optimization for all canteen related expenses.
  • Ensure adherence to the canteen contract.
  • Lab testing of foods on periodic basis.
  • Ensure Safety & Security of the workplace.
  • Monitoring & arrangement of Pest control services as & when requested
  • Control and Management of all assets within the scope of administration
  • Record keeping
  • Monthly canteen committee meeting under the chair of Head- Administration
  • Preparation of PPT & excel charts for presentation to management

Required Experience: 7+ years in hospitality industry with exposure to kitchen operations.

Educational Qualification: MBA in Hotel Management from a reputed institute
