What this job involves:


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for handling Mid to Big sized Team, resources split across multiple Regions/Work Type
  • People Management. Prepare and document Monthly One on Ones, Goal Setting, Quarterly Conversations, Rating Discussions and Remuneration Planning for team members. Leave and Attrition Management
  • Lead conversations for Accounts Receivable Team with country-based managers/On-shore stake holders. Ensure Team is update for all existing/New BAUs on timely basis
  • Ensure adherence to AR and all other related policies, accuracy of accounting processed
  • Resolve Team Queries on subject matter, decision making on prioritization and volume churn-out as needed
  • Ensure proper work allocation and timely turnaround
  • Ensure service delivery based on agreed SLAs and Quality Standards
  • Timely book closing and Write-off/Adjustment processing. Minimize unallocated items through constant communication
  • Effective management of internal & external stakeholders while nurturing a good relationship and ability to get things done with positive influence
  • Process Standardization, Documentation and Value Stream Mapping. Deliver Organic growth through Lean and Continuous improvement
  • Data Management, KPI Reporting, Prepare and provide accurate and timely team/process data/decs as required by Fin Ops management/Stake Holders
  • Work with other Managers and Team Leaders in the project to create a culture of collaboration
  • Coach and mentor team members to ensure all-round development of individuals

Performance objectives:


  • Ensure agreed KPI’s (Productivity, Quality and Turn Around Time) are met/Exceed
  • Achieve high employee and client satisfaction scores
  • Ensure attrition rates are below industry figures
  • Ensure succession planning of key resources
  • Monitor process exceptions and devise a plan to minimize the same
  • Minimize risk through appropriate controls in place
  • Budget control. Efficiency/Productivity passback

Requirements:


  • Must be Commerce Graduate/Postgraduate or MBA in Finance
  • Must have Minimum of 9 Years of Experience working in Shared Services/Captive Units/MNCs, at least 3 Years should be on People Role for a team of 5+ headcount.
  • Sound Accounting and Domain Knowledge
  • Must have mentioned experience in Accounts Receivable
  • Should be comfortable working as an Individual contributor as well as Team Handling
  • Good/Strong communication skills, ability to work methodically & efficiently and deliver under tight deadlines
  • Intermediate / Advanced PC skills, proficient in Office tools, such as Microsoft Outlook Word & Excel. Including advance Excel functionalities
  • Should be comfortable working in US/EMEA Shift
  • Working experience on PeopleSoft, Service Now, Zendesk will be added advantage
  • Knowledge of Lean Awareness, Continuous Improvement and RPA
