Critical activities of the job
Accounting, Control and Compliance
·Supports local finance team in preparing the stand-alone and consolidated statutory financial statements, tax and management reports
·Ensure all comments and observations from external audit are included in the final report. Helping to develop and maintain statutory country templates
·Prepare and perform quarterly/periodical statutory adjustments ( bridges between US GAAP and Local GAAP) . Prepare reconciliations for statutory accounts as per required timing
·Maintain the relation and support with the Statutory Audit Process (gather and submit information). Ensure the final Financial Statements are in the required local format
·Ensure yearly entity governance existing countries/ERP’s (new entity set up’s / updates to entity master data / mergers / liquidations)
·Responds to specific questions from business stakeholders and clarifies uncertainties/cases when necessary. May establish, modify, document and co-ordinate implementation of reporting digital tools
·May coordinate ad-hoc projects as regional activities transitions, finance IT tools implementations; Maintain and make use of other finance and non-finance departments for achieving the goals
·Draft management reports, disclosures, notes, and any other information needed to complete statutory financials
·Preparation of tax pack for local tax computation
·Inculcate a continuous improvement mindset as well as a digital mindset

Business Partnership and Process Improvement
·Ensure strong stakeholder management with US GAAP controllership, country finance leaders and key stakeholders in finance and business to deliver Stat GAAP/IFRS compliant financials
·Coordinate and support Internal audit, external audit, and SOX Compliance
·Support business on new initiatives and finance projects
·Partner with Transformation team in identifying and delivering on process improvement opportunities
·Manage the ad-hoc queries from country finance teams/external auditors/internal auditors/internal controls
Competencies
Specific knowledge, skills and experience needed to successfully undertake duties of the job.
Education and Certifications
·Semi qualified CA, MBA, MCom
·IFRS certification preferred
Required Experiences
·Min 2-3 years of experience in similar profiles or CA firms
·Experience of handling financial statements of multi-national companies
·Good technical acumen in US GAAP/IFRS requirements
·Hands on experience of working on reconciling GAAP differences
Knowledge and Skills
·Strong communication (oral and written) skills is a must
·Experience with SAP / Systems knowledge of SAP and HFM
·Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
·Knowledge of R2R concepts, processes, and best practices
·Process orientated with excellent problem-solving skills
·Strong technical and analytical skills
·Project mindset, can identify opportunities and lead technical projects
·Good business acumen including company, legal entity, regulatory and compliance design
