What will you be doing?
- Responsible for the Sourcing and Procurement of MP and Local materials as per business need.
- Reporting directly to India Procurement manager and dotted line to Area Category Manager
- Create and manage RFx for materials/services according to category or unit plans.
- Create should cost models where needed and Benchmarking of prices / norms.
- Lead supplier negotiations, formulating Terms & conditions of ordering.
- Pre-tender price/norm finalization/submission and creation of Source plan for all the projects
- Pre-tender pricing/norm signoff with price validity for each project with PM, MP Sales and Procurement head
- Liaising with the Project Managers for the procurement of the local materials for each projects on time at optimal prices
- Ensuring timely procurement and delivery of local materials for every project as per the agreed timelines
- Execute global, regional and local supplier agreements.
- Supplier Contract and Performance Monitoring and Management for the category
- Planning, steering, and developing supplier relationships on continual basis.
- Act as central contact point and contract owner for the category suppliers.
- Manage Supplier requirements & resolving issues to honor the commitments to Suppliers.
- Keep agreements/price lists updated and feed data into operational purchasing systems (e.g.
- SAP-Following KW master data processes
- KSMP-Source Plan uploading with Saving Project creation for each network/Job.
- Maintain contract validity and manage re-negotiation as needed and in alignment with category and Sourcing strategy.
- Follow-up supplier KPIs and support measurement where needed.
- Follow-up supplier related risks, define mitigation actions and monitor implementation.
- Arrange and conduct regular steering meetings with suppliers following standard agenda for continual improvements.
- Manage and drive resolution of supplier issues and escalate with stakeholders and management if needed.
- Involve other functions in issue resolution and supplier development as needed.
- Steer supplier segmentation regularly by performance evaluation and category plans.
- Update or trigger updating of relevant data in IT systems (KONE SPD, Cost models).
- Manage savings actions with supplier viz a viz our Saving Targets.
- Steering Custom clearance activities for materials being imported from China, Finland & Germany.
