Join the Client Service team at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, where we prioritize exceptional service and integrated client servicing. You'll collaborate with various roles, including a Client Advisor, Account Manager, and Portfolio Manager, while also maintaining operational support for JPMorgan Funds. This dynamic role requires efficient prioritization, flexibility, and adherence to established policies and legal requirements.
As a Project Manager within the J.P. Morgan Asset Management team, you will be responsible for executing key deliverables within the strategic business agenda across the business. You will interact with Senior Management, Product Groups, Finance, and Business Risk Management and external partners including the Fund’s transfer agent.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage several multi-step projects of varying complexity with multiple deadlines, ensuring all assigned projects are completed on schedule.
- Maintain the agreed and appropriate oversight of our Transfer Agent & Sub Registers.
- Serve as the escalation point for any operational issues both for the Transfer Agent and internal AM teams, as well as escalation towards the Funds Board.
- Review, monitor, and report on data for effective data analysis and management.
- Understand and define business needs in the context of short- and long-term objectives.
- Lead the team in documenting risk and implementing steps to reduce risk, independently analyzing situations and identifying solutions that control risk.
- Develop and deploy procedures by routinely reviewing and updating them, identifying trends, and implementing procedures to improve current processes.
- Provide back-up support to team members as needed.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Word and Excel required. Strong analytical skills; high-attention to detail and able to quickly identify, analyze and solve problems.
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication and presentation skills; able to communicate effectively across varying audiences and run meetings.
- Able to make sound decisions in the absence of detailed instructions; ability to work independently.
- Strong time management skills and able to prioritize in a demanding environment; able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced business with frequent changes and short deadlines. Strong organizational skills; able to manage and complete a broad range of concurrent assignments/projects with efficiency and accuracy.
- Demonstrates a high degree of integrity, initiative, challenge and drive and effectively contributes to a dynamic team environment.
- Understanding of the mutual fund and retirement industry
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Access preferred. Technical know-how – Tableau, Alteryx, Python, UI – Path & Spectrum workflow capabilities.
- Working knowledge of SS&C (DST) systems - TA2000, TA2000 Desktop, AWD preferred. Working knowledge of statement and media production preferred. Working and Adobe Experience Manager Forms software preferred
- FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 licenses preferred.
