As an Associate in Asset Management Team, you will support activities relating to the JPMorgan Funds client services and transfer agency operations. This includes control programs focused on regulatory and operational requirements to assure compliance with all relevant regulation and internal policy. 


Job Responsibilities


  • Manage the ongoing development and oversight of various JPMorgan Funds control programs including but not limited to blue sky, intermediary oversight and prospectus adherence.
  • Serve as operational liaison between J.P. Morgan Asset Management, intermediaries and relevant third-party service provider(s).
  • Assist service provider(s) with identifying and applying exemptions as needed
  • Perform duties in support of vendor oversight to ensure completeness and accuracy of services rendered by third-party provider(s).
  • Participate in activities and research with industry forums  in relation to the JPMorgan Funds client services and transfer agency regulations and activities.
  • Work with external financial intermediaries on matters related to the JPMorgan Funds control programs and associated policies and procedures. 
  • Assist management with all governance forums and reporting (internal and external) pertaining to regulatory and business control activities .
  • Assist management in the support of other regulatory and business control functions as needed.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills


  • Knowledge of mutual fund industry and prior work experience in mutual fund operations and controls
  • Bachelor's degree in a business / finance / accounting discipline
  • Must be customer focused
  • Must possess continuous process improvement mindset
  • Must be able to work independently within a team environment, and demonstrate flexibility and ability to adjust quickly to the changing demands of the business and team
  • Ability to quickly distill and analyze large amounts of data
