You have found the right team.  As a Product Administration professional in our Asset Management team, you will be working with an established team and support  J.P. Morgan Asset Management (Europe) S.à r.l. (“JPMAME”) which is the designated Luxembourg Alternative Investment Fund Manager (“AIFM”) of J.P. Morgan Asset Management's alternative investment products. JPMAME provides supervision and oversight of fund activities including those delegated to third parties.  This role is to support its fast-growing Alternative funds pipeline and the implementation of the AIFM Alternatives oversight model.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Conduct and document risk-based oversight controls on Alternative funds’ NAVs calculated by external service providers including participation to due-diligence and service reviews on fund administration providers
  • Prepare, review, challenge and formalize documentation of the JPMAME Valuation Committee. 
  • Define and own the formalization of periodic reviews and updates to alternative funds valuation and NAV oversight policies and procedures and manage the end-to-end implementation thereof and any other oversight requirement.
  • Support new product launch or onboarding-related projects by identifying, documenting and implementing new control models for new alternative funds, including update of valuation policies etc., working closely with the JPMAME Product Implementation team and all relevant internal teams and external parties
  • Support risk management or relevant teams in identifying the risk profile of the Alternative funds
  • Support regulatory reporting with respect to the JPMAME Alternative funds. Report to the JPMAME Management Committee, fund boards and other relevant governance bodies.
  • Dealing with internal/management or external queries related to the valuation and NAV monitoring controls and other matters regarding the alternative funds. Liaise with JPM Alternatives business groups and with external fund administrators, consultants, depositaries, etc.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills


  • The candidate must have proven experience on alternative funds, including real estate, private equity, infrastructure and private debt funds, among others, in a fund administration, audit or fund manager oversight role in an international environment
  • The candidate must demonstrate understanding of Alternative Investments valuation methodologies in line with regulatory requirements and industry guidelines
  • The candidate must have a robust and broad understanding of Alternative fund structures and operational processes, financial reporting and the overall fund regulatory environment, industry practices and developments
  • The candidate should have a relevant experience of at least 5 years in the fund administration, audit or fund manager oversight of Luxembourg Alternative funds. 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills


  • Experience in managing external service providers.
  • Additional certifications (e.g. CA, CPA, ACCA, CAIA) a plus.
  • Strong organization skills, high sense of responsibility and dependability and can prioritize and multi-task on deliverables
  • Show strong accuracy and attention to details, be rigorous and can also work autonomously. 
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
