The Area Service Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for


Primary responsibility to take ownership of installed instrument base and well planned to perform timely preventive maintenance and modification. Perform Pre-installation site visit, installation and maintains as per standard protocol. Well pan to minimize downtime of instrument. Maintain recommended/ appropriate spare parts for his product range.


Maintains excellent customer relationship, specifically with his/her directly assigned accounts and update each visit report to HOD. Timely submission service documents like -service, installation, modification and breakdown reports, IOOQ documents etc. Contribute towards service revenue by timely submit service quotation and follow up till generation of invoice and 100% advance payment. Adheres to field service policies procedures and standards.


This position is part of the Service Department located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand and will be Fully Remote. At Beckman Coulter Diagnostics our Vision is Relentlessly Reimagine Healthcare, One Diagnosis at a Time.


You will be a part of the Service Team-North India and report to the State Service Manager and responsible for Managing service professional handling the area of Uttarakhand region. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:


  • Grow along with a leading IVD segment organization


  • Provide on-site support for our instruments which will lead to advancing healthcare and patient supports. Responsible for Channel Partner Team service operation, Uptime management, Service Spares Management and Service Activity documentation.


  • Ability to interact with our team of service professionals and other cross function which are very critical for the role.


The essential requirements of the job include:


Education


  • Graduation- Electrical/Electronics/ Biomedical Engineering


Experience along with Background and functional Knowledge


  • 6-12 years experienced professional with background of working on High Throughput Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, and Immunoassay instruments.                                                                              


  • Good written and verbal communication. Able to communicate ideas effectively in an assertive manner. Able to communicate technical/ administrative matters effectively.                                                                                                


  • Good understanding of Service documentation systems and business process flow.


  • Demonstrates curiosity; can effectively identify common product related trends and solutions


  • Computer Proficiency - MS -Office, Teams, Networking and Interface, Ability to learn new tools or software as per the need.


It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:


  • Independently handling one or more product group (example Immunoassay Analyzer, Hematology Analyzer or Chemistry Analyzer) with timely expert support.


  • Technically competent with strong people skills to promote teamwork needed to achieve reliability program objectives: ability to work in team environment.


  • Handling team of technical associates at the time of need. Able to guide and mentor junior team members and gain followership
