Together, we’re working at the pace of change to improve patient lives with diagnostic tools that address the world’s biggest health challenges. The Area Sales Manager role is responsible for driving the primary and secondary revenue for UP geography.This position is part of the Sales Function located in Lucknow and will be in a remote work set-up. At Radiometer, our vision is to improve global healthcare with reliable, fast, and easy patient diagnoses.You will be a part of the Sales function and report to the Zonal Sales Head – North zone. Your core area of responsibility will be to successfully drive the hospital & Diagnostic Labs sale from introduction of new screening and diagnostic concepts through closure and implementation, working with medical professionals /clinicians/intensivists, diagnostic laboratory heads to identify needs, gain consensus, and close new assay and instrumentation business. If you thrive in a fast paced, target driven leadership, role and want to work towards building a world-class Commercial organization—read on.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Manage and grow business in existing and new accounts in assigned territory
  • Sell additional instrumentation to customers and negotiate and manage contracts
  • Develop and implement customer -specific action plans
  • Work closely with Field Application Specialists to develop sales strategies
  • Develop and deliver presentations and proposals
The essential requirements of the job include:
  • 7-10 years of sales experience in Medical devices/Diagnostic equipment to hospitals /clinical laboratories.
  • Strong track record of sales success, specifically in selling premium product
  • Expertise with demand creation and multi-departmental hospital and lab sales
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree with Science background / Diploma/Degree in Medical instrumentation is desirable
