Job Purpose


The core purpose of the job is to achieve business growth and gain market share in the assigned area by deploying and executing channel strategies. The role will also drive customer engagement to gain share of mind, share of shelf with key category influencers. Attain excellence in execution by achieving distribution and visibility objectives through effective training and working with front line team.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Sales strategy: Developing and implementing effective sales strategies.


  • Business growth: Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and meeting and exceeding sales targets.


  • Client relations: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, retailers, and distributors.


  • Market research: Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities.


  • Network expansion: Identifying areas for network expansion or correction, and recommending suitable parties.


  • New product introduction: Introducing new products to chains, and implementing new marketing plans.


  • Team management: Mentoring, motivating, and guiding team members to ensure sales and business generation.


  • Key account management: Instore visibility execution as per monthly agreed plans with the various MT accounts.


What we are looking for:


Experience and Qualification:


  • 4 to 8 years of experience in sales, preferably in the FMCG sector.


  • Postgraduate Degree is a must.


Skills:


  • Strong understanding of the FMCG market and distribution network.


  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
