Purpose: To lead the architectural team in identifying and implementing the right Automation technologies that align with business requirements and drive strategic growth.


What This Role Will Be Doing:


As the Lead of Architects, you will oversee a team responsible for evaluating, designing, and implementing IT architectures with a strong emphasis on Automation technologies. Your role involves guiding the team to ensure that the chosen technologies meet both business and technical needs. You will play a crucial role in aligning technology strategies with business objectives and enhancing the organization's Automation capabilities.


As such, the candidate must demonstrate exceptional technical skills and communication skills, attention to detail, and an ability to build collaboration across the enterprise. This role must effectively blend a core foundation rooted in technology with a broad understanding of the company’s business objectives and future direction. This role requires significant collaboration with Business Analysts, Development, Operations and Platform teams within the Automation unit, as well as with stakeholders across the enterprise outside of the Automation team. Additionally, the lead will engage in vendor management to ensure that external partners contribute effectively to the Automation initiatives. Such collaboration is essential to ensure that Automation initiatives are seamlessly integrated and effectively address the varied needs of the organization.


The candidate must also be a change advocate within the organization. This includes promoting new ways of working and driving the adoption of innovative practices across teams and processes.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Architectural Oversight:


  • Oversee detailed solutions and architectural designs focused on Automation technologies.
  • Collaborate with teams like SAP, Salesforce, Command Center, and Esker to ensure designs are resilient, efficient, and forward-thinking.
  • Align architectural strategies with business objectives to optimize Automation opportunities.
  • Lead an innovative review board to assess project feasibility and technology alignment.

Technology Evaluation and Selection:


  • Identify and evaluate Automation tools for business suitability, leveraging industry knowledge.
  • Stay informed on industry trends to guide technology decisions.

Standards and Best Practices:


  • Establish architectural standards and best practices for Automation projects.
  • Implement KPIs to measure Automation success.

Integration and System Coherence:


  • Ensure seamless integration of new Automation technologies with existing systems.
  • Maintain architectural coherence across projects.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:


  • Collaborate with BAs and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Act as a key contact for Automation technologies and architectural decisions.
  • Chair an architect review board for design approval and collaboration.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:


  • Foster innovation by exploring cutting-edge Automation solutions.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts in Automation processes and outcomes.

Team Leadership and Development:


  • Lead and mentor architects, fostering a high-performance culture and encouraging continuous learning.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:


  • 10+ years of experience
  • Advanced proficiency with AA360 in designing scalable RPA solutions.
  • Expertise in enterprise automation design and integration
  • Proficient in ABBYY and IQBOT for document automation.
  • Proficient in C, C++, Java, Python for robust automation scripts.
  • Strong expertise in SQL, MySQL, DB2, OLEDB optimizing workflows.
  • Enhancing RPA interoperability through API integrations Experience in automating processes with Taskbots and Metabots.
  • Skilled with Synon, FileZilla, Tableau, Jira, Service Now, MS Office (6+ years). very simple and short
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or any other related discipline and equivalent related experience.
