Job Description

Overview The Architect- HyperAutomation position is part of the HyperAutomation Platform team within the PepsiCo CTO Organization at Hyderabad and reports to the Deputy Director of HyperAutomation. The Architect will work with business leadership, partnering across platform teams, development teams, and other technology centres of excellence to deliver the automation goals within the HyperAutomation roadmap. The right candidate will work in an Agile manner, advocating Agile practices within the team and across vendor teams. Responsibilities Engaging with Technology teams, product vendors and partner teams to define and prioritize Proactive SRE objectives and develop strategy and roadmap. Using software tools to automate IT infrastructure tasks such as Infrastructure system management, application monitoring and Observability. Apply AI to create intelligent IT operations as ML models reliably detect patterns and build insight from past experience. Use AIOps to help teams manage the vast volumes of data and achieve proactive incident resolution. Interact and collaborate with our stakeholders to identify automation needs and opportunities. Drive, Implement, and deliver Agile Practices in/across Teams. Perform competitive analysis of features and tools. Create User Stories for tools and digital products in scope. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent experience. 6-10 years of experience in Tooling, automation, and observability platforms in a large-scale production environment. Must have experience of end-to-end observability and automation platforms and tooling integration for large Scale Enterprise / Proactive SRE. Exposure to Infrastructure monitoring tools like - Service Now ITOM, Service Now HLA, SevOne, Zenoss, AppDynamics, Kafka, Elastic etc. and other Cloud Management tools. Good understanding of ITIL/ ITSM process and Tooling Integration and Workflows. Sound knowledge in IT Operations including infrastructure and application systems Good to have experience in managing Agile projects using Azure DevOps (ADO) for sprint planning. Well organized, with the ability to plan ahead for short- to medium-term objectives and able to identify, organize and facilitate the work as required Strong communications and influencing skills, with the ability to fluently interact with subordinates, peers, and Senior Management Strong understanding of automation technologies, such as Ansible (AWX or AAP), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Scripting etc. Proficient knowledge of automation platforms, tools, and programming languages Good knowledge of scripting languages such as Python. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities Continuous learning mindset, keeping up with industry trends and emerging technologies.
