- Architecture, Design, Deploying, and maintaining OpenShift clusters within Customer environment.
- Design the High Availability on multi-cluster environments using the combined power of VMware and OpenShift technologies.
- Collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to optimize the CI/CD pipeline for OpenShift applications.
- Lead Platform Deployment and Management including configuration, and administration of OpenShift clusters
- Implementing and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Ansible for managing OpenShift environments.
- Implementing best practices for containerization, orchestration, and automation using DevOps principles.
- Responsible for Periodic reviews in OpenShift, Kubernetes, and DevOps to continuously improve the cloud infrastructure.
- Responsible for platform automation, including CI/CD pipeline integration and collaboration with Application teams and middleware teams in Deliver robust CI/CD pipelines.
- Responsible for integrating the open shift platform with Observability, FinOp, Security and Compliance process.
- Responsible for configuring, managing, implementing, maintaining and management of APIs contained in the Open Shift solution.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
- Bachelor's degree or related engineering degree completed.
- A minimum of 12 years of related experience including cloud computing, and containerization technologies.
- Preferred: Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration or equivalent
- Advanced knowledge of system and software architecture frameworks
- OpenShift Knowledge: 3+ years of hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- DevOps Experience: Proficiency in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control, automated testing, and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub.
- Containerization Skills: Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, along with specific knowledge of how OpenShift utilizes containers for application deployment and management.
- Scripting and Automation: Proficiency with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python, as well as experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
