The Primary role / function of the Project & Execution Engineer is to plan and execute project scopes.  The role requires the ability to work across global teams, identify and drive problem resolution, interface and direct multiple project disciplines (e.g. safety, cost, schedule, quality, systems completion etc.), and communicate clearly to site teams, management, and contractor organizations in support of smooth transition from construction to operations.  This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and problem-solving skills to drive successful project delivery.

• Work with assigned global business units to identify project requirements and coordinate development of Project Management System deliverables and reviews.
• Participate in ITT development, bid evaluation, and contractor selection.
• Oversee engineering, execution planning, procurement, systems completion, and start up.
• Stewarding contractor’s performance, align key stakeholders, engage internal discipline experts.
• Coordinates project issues identification and resolution process.
• Ensure smooth transitions between project stages, across sites, and between key stakeholders.
• Interface and coordinate work activities and quality workshops between Quality and other Project disciplines
• Conduct oversight of Contractors’ implementation of their Quality program and compliance with project requirements
• Perform Engineering, Procurement and Construction Quality Surveillance & audits of EPC activities
• Participate in Supplier Evaluations (Technical) and Cold Eyes Reviews
• Use technical expertise and experience in areas such as certification, construction, engineering, inspection, and materials to assist project quality efforts as directed.
• Prepare commissioning and start-up sequence, schedules and communicate/drive area completion strategies and system priorities; Support punch list walk down package development using redline drawings.
• Develop/Review systems completion plans, startup plans, commissioning procedures, and startup procedures.
• Prepare mechanical completion, commissioning, and start-up progress reports including Skyline reports, check sheet run-down reports, certification rundown reports, punch list rundown reports.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field from a recognized university with CGPA 6.5 and above
• Minimum 3 years of experience executing capital projects.  Preference given to experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, power, construction, or fertilizer industry.
• Experience: 5+ years in project execution, systems completion, quality control & assurance, or Oil & Gas operations.
• Education: Engineering degree
• Experience in quality management, project completions, and commissioning.
• Exposure to engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC).
• Strong project execution, planning, and coordination skills.
• Experience working with contractors, suppliers, and fabrication teams.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of industry standards and work processes.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and presentation tools.
• Willingness to relocate to Bengaluru and travel internationally as required.

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience

• Owner /operator Company experience is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to articulate technical issues to a non-technical audience.
• Good command of English both written and spoken.
• Strong organizational, coordination, planning, and interface skills.
• Knowledge of industry standards and related work processes.
• Flexibility to travel internationally.
