About the team:
The Environment Support Team is responsible for detecting and managing incidents for our banking application using Splunk and Dynatrace. They implement and configure various monitoring tools and participate in automation projects to optimize daily production support tasks. The team also coordinates changes to ensure applications come out clean from maintenance windows and manages certificates for the applications they support. Their expertise ensures the stability, security, and efficiency of our banking operations.
What you will be doing:
· Provides technical support activities for a software production processing environment.
· Installs, maintains and supports application/source code and/or its components and subsystems including third party software.
· Analyzes and resolves incidents, problems or known errors related to failures in application and supporting software components.
· Provides technical assistance to programming staff in the analysis of application software amends, performance and resource consumption.
· Creates and maintains complete documentation relative to the support of application software.
What you bring:
· At least 2 -6 years in experience in Application Support and Production support
· Good experience Unix, Windows ,SQL Unix Shell scripting
· Knowledge in Support and Monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace
· Experience in Troubleshooting Incident Triaging, Log analysis, Platform Stability
· Knowledge in Incident, Change Management
· Knowledge in Control M or Batch job process
Added Bonus if you have:
· Knowledge in Splunk would be added advantage.
· Knowledge in troubleshooting Java/J2EE application related issues.
· Knowledge of FIS’ products and services
· Knowledge of the business goals, objectives and business operations for the appropriate FIS organization
· Knowledge of financial services industry
