Job Title: Application Support Specialist - Treasury and Tax Technology
Experience: 5 - 10 Years
Role Overview:
A application support specialist with a focus on Tax and Treasury applications. Candidate must be an excellent analytical thinker and problem solver, as well as an effective communicator. Highly motivated, able to multi-task, and possess a solid work ethic with commitment to task completion in a timely manner. Specific.
On a typical day you will:
- Ability to identify tax and treasury technology needs, including opportunities for process improvements, automation, and application best practices.
- Act as project manager for assigned finance technology or process projects, including managing extended internal and external project team activities, tasks, deliverables and timelines. Operate with the objective of executing projects to meet the required standard of quality; ensuring business success; and ensuring professional stakeholder management
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and various departments within the firm including DT, Tax, Treasury and Finance
- Provide system-level support of infrastructure, including installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and support of these systems. Create and/or maintain detailed standard work and systems documentation
- Install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain Tax and Treasury systems. Analyze system issues, develop technical solutions and document issue-resolution knowledge base
- Proactive monitoring of critical applications and server availability and performance.
- Upgrade systems and their underlying technology to keep current with industry. Coordinate IT Infrastructure upgrades and security patches. Ensure compliance with SDLC and Otis Change Management processes.
- Lead the implementation of OneSource Indirect Tax Determination (a.k.a, Sabrix) while adhering to company application & security standards. Gather requirements, write design specifications and configure systems to support the implementation of Sabrix and JDE in multiple countries. Prototype solutions in the Sabrix tax determination application. Assist in the development and execution of system test plans.
- Manage design, build, test and migration of all interfaces associated with Kyriba and 8 custom Treasury web applications.
- Daily monitoring of payments, statements and acknowledgements within Kyriba. Work with business, SWIFTNet, Boomi and Talend teams to monitor and troubleshoot file transmission errors. Monitor interfaces and file transmissions between SaaS applications, JDE GL, Treasury web applications and SharePoint.
- Assist with configuration, user permission and user access requests within Kyriba. Assist with user setup within Okta. Download user access reports as needed, troubleshoot access issues, own the architecture of automated interface between Kyriba and OAM systems. Manage user permissions to SharePoint sites.
- Monitor SNOW tickets to ensure timely resolutions. Liaison between external vendors and internal business partners to escalate issues as needed.
What You Will Need to be Successful:
- Five plus years of experience working with application support, business analysis and infrastructure components and services
- Preferred experience with Kyriba, Treasury, Banking DT, Tax, OneSource Indirect Tax Determination (Sabrix)/Corptax/PTMS/Longview.
- Expertise in working with SaaS applications, cloud services (e.g., Azure), web service API’s (SOAP, RESP) and data analytics tools such as Qlik or Power BI is desirable
- Candidate should possess exceptional customer focus skills as well as the ability to learn, understand and interpret business processes
- Experience in managing implementation projects.
- Ability to communicate effectively to technical as well as business audience
- This position requires exceptional collaboration, teamwork, negotiation, influence, and relationship-building skills at all levels with internal and external parties
