Job Description : Application Specialist – PostPress


Desired Profile:


•    BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Printing technology is preferrable.
•    Relevant work experience of 5 to 8 years in Graphic Art Industry.
•    A very good knowledge of Post press printing machineries candidates is mandatory.
•    Excellent business communication in English & Hindi is mandatory
•    Willing to travel extensively across India.
•    Deliver high level of technical service and support to both internal and external customers in installations and servicing of equipment as per the guidelines of Heidelberg Service Department.
•    Support sales operation with respect to technical issues, customer complaints and sales opportunities.
•    Develop customer support standards by ensuring first time fix of service issues, improved customer response time and efficiently manage overall customer satisfaction.
•    Demonstrate leadership in developing and living up to Heidelberg’s new values (Listen, Inspire, Deliver) to optimize the results of the SSU business.


Responsibilities:
•    Ability to understand requirements and advise technical solutions as per guideline.
•    Expedite the escalation of technical issues to Regional Service Support and the Factory as needed.
•    Adhere rigorously to service policies, guidelines, and performance standards during the execution of assigned tasks, services, or installations.
•    Provide comprehensive support to field team technicians, including branches, in resolving significant technical challenges.
•    Assist Team Lead/2S Team/SOM in managing customer complaints concerning service disputes.
•    Ensure prompt assignment of qualified technicians to service jobs without delay.
•    Prepare accurate quotations for external service requests.
•    Manage and supervise major repairs and overhauls.
•    Provide valuable service insights to enhance customer satisfaction.
•    Ensure comprehension and adherence to the Quality Policy.
•    Assist in planning for installations, including training and application programs.
•    Oversee technical information updates and field modifications.
•    Maintain and recommend service tools to optimize operational efficiency.
•    Ensure timely productivity and utilization.
