Job Title: Application Specialist - Chromatography

Responsibilities
- Provide both pre-sales and post-sales technical/application support, responding to inquiries from internal and external customers.
- Develop and optimize methods for all chromatography products, including LCMS/GCMS & HPLC
- Deliver customer presentations, technical seminars, and training sessions on various chromatographic products and applications.
- Prepare and present technical seminars to both existing and potential customers.
- Cultivate and deepen Thermo Fisher Scientific’s relationships with key scientific and educational leaders.
- Develop educational content for company-hosted websites, videos, seminars, and application reports.
- Handle product-related issues and troubleshooting at both the demo lab and customer sites.
Requirements
- Post Graduate / PhD in Chemistry (Analytical / Organic), Biochemistry, or Pharmacy.
- Over 7 years of experience in LCMS/GCMS operations.
- More than 5 years of experience in Pharma, Biopharma, or Food industries.
- Proven ability to generate technically reviewed application notes and generate data/reports to global Tech tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively (over 60%) within the United States.
- Interest in learning alternative chromatographic techniques for comprehensive customer support.
- Stay updated on current technology trends and scientific literature, sharing this knowledge with the sales team.
