Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. You will be responsible for managing the team and ensuring successful project delivery. Your typical day will involve collaborating with multiple teams, making key decisions, and providing solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams. Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor batch jobs. Report/resolve issues and batch scheduling changes in TWS tool
• Perform basic batch operations tasks. (RERUN, Step Restart, HOLD)
• Handle Current Plan batch activities and ad hoc changes.
• Monitor critical batches & console alerts. • Report batch issues. Apply SOP to troubleshoot. • Perform IPL/HMC operations and system maintenances. • Handle system breakdowns - Emergency IPL, Dumps
• Identify & report risks to SLAs and engage stakeholders
• Monitor System performance Technical Experience:
• Experience to monitor consoles and other monitoring tools for various alerts and report as required
• Expertise with batch scheduling tools - particularly in TWS tool. Good to have experience with other scheduling tools like CA-ESP, CA-7, or Control-M
• Experience to work with Spool management tools, system monitoring and automation tools
• Expertise & knowledge to perform IPL and knowledge of HMC operations • Experienced to support Production/LIVE environment in 24x7 support model Professional Attributes:
