Application Engineer II

Your Role and Responsibilities
You will own end-to-end features from concept to design to production, and partner with product managers, user experience designers, and other engineers to achieve high-quality solutions. As an Application Engineer you will create applications, which solve complex business problems, using Apptio’s TBM/BI platform.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or MCA/MBA
• Minimum 5+ Years experience with analytical tools (e.g. Tableau, or PowerBI)
• SQL knowledge and database experience with MySQL or other relational DBs
• Good knowledge of data modeling, both relational and dimensional.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Technical expertise with databases, data warehousing and BI tools.
• Strong ETL Experience in Design, Configuration, Data Mapping, Extraction, Transformation and Loading
• People skills to operate in a fast-paced cross-functional team
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Excellent communication, collaboration and mentoring skills
• Knowledge of IT Industry and/or Finance.
