Job Description

Role & Responsibilities


  • Serve as the subject matter expert for solution architecture that will include configuration, development, integration, and customization of Salesforce Platform implementation.
  • Experience with any DevOps tools and version control methodologies
  • Manage environment strategy and drive best practices for DevOps
  • Serve as the Sr. Developer for Salesforce projects catering to Sales and Service Cloud.
  • Experience in designing custom objects, custom fields, picklists, page layouts, workflow, approval processes, validation rules, custom tabs, reports, Visualforce pages, dashboards, and email generation according to application requirements.
  • Design and develop solutions primarily on the force.com platform.
  • Conduct face to face meetings with Business Systems Analysts and lead functional requirement gathering sessions, which involves a review of existing systems configurations and operating methodologies as well as understanding evolving business needs.
  • Develop custom Lightning Web Components (LWC) to meet business requirements and maintain/migrate to LWC legacy Aura Lightning components.
  • Develop and maintain custom Apex code to support Lightning components and other features.
  • Write test classes for the Apex classes that you develop and ensure more than 80% code coverage.
  • Test, debug, analyze and fixe application problems/issues.
  • Remain current on new and updated functionality in Salesforce.com releases.
  • Configure Salesforce features to satisfy the business requirements using Flows, Apex Triggers, etc.
  • Follow standard coding practices, keeping custom code organized, readable, maintainable, and documented.
  • Coordinate with business owners to identify functional and technical gaps, estimate work, architect system interfaces, design custom solutions and programming.
  • Be a point of contact for maintenance of existing components on the platform and help resolve incidents and critical requests.
  • Collaborate with business partners and design consultants to understand their goals, objectives and pain points, and devise create solutions to address them effectively and efficiently using the latest and greatest offerings from Salesforce.

Skills & Qualifications


  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to give optimal solutions.
  • Ability to lead a team of developers and guide them in driving technical solutions
  • Service Cloud experience would be a big plus.
  • Salesforce certifications in Service Cloud, experience cloud
  • Working experience in a multi-geographical brown field implementation
  • Experience with Salesforce to Salesforce Org migrations would be a big plus
  • Working directly with Systems Analysts and refining requirements in a meaningful way for the developers
  • Integrating Salesforce with other applications using web services and other technologies
  • Use of APIs, Apex, Lightning, Visualforce, and Visual Workflow to develop extensions to native functionality.
  • Implementing platform end-to-end, including data conversion and post-production support and troubleshooting
  • System administration, including user management, environment planning, and workflow, approval, and message configuration.
  • Experience developing using SQL, JavaScript, REST and SOAP APIs, HTML, and XML
  • Advanced Administration experience in managing a global salesforce instance
