As an Application Development Team Lead you will design, develop and improve software, utilizing various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
To be a successful Application Development Team Lead, you should have experience with:
Leading a large distributed development team, Solution design and development of enterprise scale financial applications. Delivery of solutions that utilise the following concepts:
Version Control Management Systems, including GIT and TFS.
Continuous Integration Platforms, including Team City and TFS.
Software Component Management Systems including Nexus.
Code Quality Systems with TDD/BDD implemented.
Automated Deployment Solutions, including Nolio and Jenkins.
Excellent understanding of SOA and n-tier development. Proven solution design and documentation skills within an IT project background. Excellent understanding of software design patterns, AI, ML and LLM.
Understanding of Cloud computing, especially AWS is highly desirable. Good project experience ideally within the banking sector. Must be able to demonstrate good stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills, with strong and influential personal credibility.
Additional relevant skills given below are highly valued (Desired):
Agile, DevOps, Lean, ITIL, AWS and other cloud technologies (Azure, etc.). Chef, Docker, Groovy, Gradle/Maven, Shell, Powershell, ELK, Appd, CloudBees Flow.
Understanding of operating systems including Windows Server (all versions) and Linux (Red Hat desirable). Experience of managing development resource within a strong matrix organization.
Knowledge and demonstrable practical understanding of delivering change projects into ITIL based organizations. Knowledge and understanding of other enterprise applications suites, including analysis tools (such as ELK), NoSQL databases, Big data solutions, Warehousing technologies is desirable.
