We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.
In this role, you will:
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert in a number of products in Regulatory Compliance.
- End-to-end Appian (BPM, Workflow) application development (design, build, test & deploy).
- Collaborate with architects, developers, product leads to deliver suitable solutions to meet the business requirements/objectives.
- Research and evaluate products in support of the technology strategy. Study, design and implement products according to group standards, governance and mandatory controls.
- Work with the Engineering practice to promote development of other engineers through coaching, and mentoring.
- Ensure a high-quality standard of deliverables according to HSBC standards and best practices.
- Prepare project-related documentation and provide support on compliance and audit checking.
- Work closely with global and regional stakeholders and global development team.
- Act as the Lead Engineer for a number of inter related products, leading on service improvement initiatives, incident reviews and key Technology targets. Ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered.
- Keep up to date and have expertise on current tools, technologies and areas like cyber security and regulations pertaining to mandatory controls that are applicable.
