Your challenges
In your role as Global Travel Specialist we’ll give you the opportunity to support correct execution of the global travel program, take care of global internal and external stakeholder engagement, drive maximum compliance of TMC usage globally and act as superuser and support for the global business travellers and the OBT.
Your responsibilities
As Global Travel Specialist you will work closely with your International Back Office colleagues located with you in India (Pune), your colleagues in the Netherlands and stakeholders all over the world. You will have a global role for the operational responsibilities supporting our travellers with support of the IBO colleagues, auditing the suppliers and act as first consultant for out of policy bookings. Furthermore you will have a global role in relation to the correct execution of the global program, act as a mentor for your colleagues supporting the global travel program. You will support in utilization and KPI performance management reporting, evaluate TMC diagnostics and run continuous data analysis to help steering and improving financial performance of the program. You will be part of a global team reporting to the Practice lead for International Mobility & Global Travel located in the Netherlands.
Your Background
As Global Travel Specialist you have a very diverse role and therefore flexibility and adaptability are important. You will have a high level of independency in your role, in turn for which we need your good judgement and decisiveness. Because we work with colleagues and suppliers across the globe it is vital that you enjoy working with different cultures and communicate effectively with a wide range of people across multiple regions and cultures. It is expected that you will bring profound experience as an operational travel expert but will also be able to bring the global travel program to the next level by continuously identifying and proposing improvements of the program, processes and tooling and execute these improvements to the benefit of Vanderlande and it’s global business travellers.
The successful candidate for the role of Global Travel Specialist will have at least 5+ years of relevant experience in a high volume environment.
