Job DescriptionWho we're looking for

Are you a highly skilled marketing analyst with a proven track record in driving strategic growth? We are seeking a Marketing Strategy and Analytics Analyst to join our ambitious team in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. At Zendesk, you will have the opportunity to effectively implement top-notch marketing strategies, bringing to bear data to accurately determine our go-to-market (GTM) plans and measure performance. This role plays a crucial part in shaping our future growth and achieving our pipeline and revenue targets.


What you'll be doing
  • Partner with senior Marketing executives to solve key strategic growth opportunities and improve operational efficiency.


  • Lead and provide recommendations on decision-making projects that shape Zendesk’s future growth strategy.


  • Evaluate and enhance marketing campaigns, providing recommendations on performance and conducting thorough analyses to improve engagement and return on investment.


  • Help manage marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively to enhance return on investment.


  • Facilitate planning processes by providing data-driven recommendations for annual growth, headcount, and budget.


  • Track business performance and provide insights and recommendations, crafting raw data into persuasive visual content.


  • Maintain and develop Tableau dashboards to track global Marketing performance.


  • Establish strong working relationships with peers in other Operations teams and cross-functional partners.


  • Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends and continuously look for opportunities to improve our marketing efforts.


What you bring to the role
  • Strong strategic approach and communication skills to drive critical business decisions.


  • Expertise in using data to drive GTM strategies and measure marketing and GTM performance.


  • Ability to build and maintain high-quality automated dashboards and perform impactful deep-dive analysis.


  • Proven experience in managing junior team members and providing mentorship.


  • A do-whatever-it-takes attitude to deliver exceptional quality on time and on budget.


  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.


Basic Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in marketing data analytics.


  • Advanced proficiency in Tableau and SQL.


  • Strong communication and data visualization skills.


  • Skill in effectively solving complex problems related to central initiatives of high importance.


  • Experience in communicating effectively and presenting to Senior Executives.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • BS/BA in computer science, mathematics, economics, engineering, or a related degree. Equivalent experience will also be considered.


  • Proficiency in SAS/Python/R.


  • Understanding of the B2B lead to opportunity and sales process.
