As an Analytics Solutions Manager - Vice President, you will have an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and innovative team in a fast-paced and challenging area. This role provides you the opportunity to implement and industrialize data-promoten decision making at scale and work on complex data analytics projects with exposure to multiple products and business lines. You will have the chance to make significant contributions towards various Strategic Transformation Programs. Your responsibilities will include partnering with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, developing data models, performing extensive data analysis, reviewing data to identify key insights, and creating reports and visualizations that effectively communicate findings.
Job Responsibilities:
- Leverage data and impactful data storytelling to drive strategic technology implementation
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, insights, and provide recommendations to support business objectives and improve performance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions within an agile development framework
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing data validation and quality checks
- Partner closely with product leads to determine delivery approach and priority areas
- Maintain and build excellent relationships across different teams mainly including operations, technology and product managers
- Demonstrate thought leadership and contribute to solutions that will impact decision making and help steer the strategic direction of the organization
- Expand use of AI & ML to perform predictive analysis on some of the crucial key result areas including but not limited to STP improvement, Exceptions, Fails reduction, position breaks etc.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Bachelor degree with relevant techno-functional work experience
- 10+ years of experience in data analysis and large scale transformation programs with a strong track record of delivering actionable insights
- Data-driven decision maker with hands-on knowledge on Capital Markets & Investment Banking with strong ability to analyze large scale datasets
- Proficiency in data analytics tools and technologies including but not limited to Alteryx, Oracle, Tableau, Qlik view/Qlik sense to achieve desired business outcomes
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders, provide clear and succinct updates on the work to stakeholders at all level and actively contribute to program updates, project and team meetings
- Ability to handle multiple projects, build/nurture effective and lasting relationships with colleagues, team members and stakeholders across multiple business lines and global locations
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learnt
- Strong capability to support & adapt within a changing environment in matrix and multi-year type project structures where strong influencing skills are required
- Highly skilled at problem solving, ability to scope and provide structure to complex issues, rapidly learn unfamiliar processes and provide insightful and timely analytics with attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of Investment Banking business, functions, processes (e.g. Global Markets, Middle Office, Back Office etc. and knowledge of various Derivatives, Securities, FX products)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with strong time management skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Bachelor degree (technology preferred) with relevant techno-functional work experience
- Experience working within an Agile development lifecycle
- Proficiency in Data Science & Machine Learning tools and programming language such as SQL and Python
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
