Job Description:

Summary/Objective:


The individual in the role of Analyst – Transaction Testing Team is responsible for broad set of activities to conduct the independent review of loan and deposits book data points from various bank systems and compare it to reports/documents to complete testing and provide the results.


An Analyst – Transaction Testing Team is an individual contributor acting as a member of Transaction testing team.


The Transaction Testing Team shall be responsible for verifying that established standards / data points for Loan book and deposits held by the bank are followed and accurately reflecting for further processes/ reporting.


The individual shall be responsible for following the methods developed to track accuracy of stipulated data points across various bank systems also supporting the reporting on mentioned data points quality to management of respective business area, critical business partners and stakeholders as required.


General operations functions may include, but are not limited to:


Essential Functions


  • Complete periodic review of Loan documents and complete deviation analysis comparing various bank systems / reports and participate in remediation of issues as required.
  • Ensure Data point deficiencies / potential sensitive issues are identified and escalated as appropriate.
  • Follow the Process Steps to complete the transaction testing review with complete accuracy.
  • Ensure Risks within the scope of the role/team are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled, consistent with bank’s risk appetite and all policies and processes established within the risk governance framework.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, as applicable.
  • Monitor and report SLAs and KPIs for the processes under review and applicable to incumbent.
  • Ensure compliance with all the Bank’s policies and procedures, as applicable basis scope of work.
  • Perform assigned activities required to support the manager. Work under limited supervision and has an expanded skill set that is applied to the essential functions. Utilize knowledge/resources to resolve moderate to complex issues, escalate complex non-routine problems.

Business Partnering


  • Work closely with the Transaction Testing Team and wider Enterprise Risk Management Team as per guidance from Manager and requirement from time to time.
  • Follow up as needed for additional testing requirements.

Required Education and Experience


  • Graduation / Post Graduation in Commerce & Accounting background – MBA Finance, CA, CFA, FRM
  • 0-3 years of work experience
  • Good understanding / Experience in commercial lending / Banking / Audit Function
  • Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills
  • Ability to deliver 100% quality work.
  • Proven ability to set strategy, targets, and achieve desired result.
  • Shift timings (2 pm – 11pm)- ability to adjust timing depending upon business requirements

Physical Demands


The employee must have the ability to use a computer keyboard, mouse, calculator, copier/fax machine, scanner and telephone. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.  Employee must have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: reviewing and analyzing information; transcribing; and/or viewing a computer screen. Employee may be required to make quick decisions as to when to escalate or directly address a situation, as well as handle the stress of such situations.  The work environment is indoors with a majority of time spent sitting at a desk.
