Reporting to IS & T Infrastructure Operations Manager, you as a L2 engineer, will be primarily in charge of working with UCC L3 Team, Microsoft and other support teams, to ensure Office365 services for 80k users spread worldwide. You will be responsible to work with other teams like Service Desk etc to ensure that end to end service is getting delivered. You should have good working experience on PSTN conferencing, VOIP Telephony , Unified Communication , Teams Calling , Voice and Video and Telephony system and other Office 365 Services.


Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:


  • 4-6 years of experience and very strong knowledge in supporting / maintaining Unified Communication, Microsoft Teams in an enterprise environment.

Must Haves:-


  • Strong knowledge on Microsoft Teams administration.
    Expertise in Teams Enterprise Voice and /Teams Conferencing solution includes Teams meeting Broadcast.
  • Very good understanding Microsoft Teams Architecture in enterprise level.
  • Very good understanding of VOIP SIP, RTP/RTCP, SRTP, HTTPS/HTTP, DNS, DHCP protocols.
  • Experience on Microsoft Teams signaling flow and various troubleshooting methods.
  • Ability to configure and manage PSTN Voice gateway, SBC, SBA, PBX.
  • Knowledge on Teams Direct Routing is a big plus.
  • Experience in Configuring, managing IP Telephony.
  • Knowledge on VOIP Phone and VTC (Video Tele Conferencing) is a big plus.
  • Experience in setting up the Teams Enterprise Voice/Meeting policies.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting the Teams call quality issues, mainly into log analysis.
  • Familiar with Wireshark, Netmon, Snooper,Putty, Teams monitoring & reporting tools.
  • Experience with using PowerShell to maintain Microsoft Teams.
    Ability to assist Microsoft Teams Enterprise voice, conferencing, Call quality issues, Meeting broadcast related issues.
    Troubleshooting skills on basic networking, firewall ports.
  • Very good understanding of audio/Video codecs.
  • Ability to work on P1/P2 incidents as an individual contributor.
  • Realtime incident Handling (Providing L2 support related issues)
  • Able to support IT corporate requirements outside the normal business hours.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with strong attention to details and highly organized.
  • Experience in using a Helpdesk based ticketing system like ServiceNow is a plus.
  • Providing root cause analysis for the problems.
  • Status reporting (Reporting availability, Server Health, Issues addressed, Service levels)
  • Should familiar with ITIL process like Incident/Problem/Change/Release/CMDB Management. 
  • Microsoft Office 365 certification is plus.
  • Work on defining types of Service Request, Provisioning and Service request Management.
  • Good Knowledge with other components of Microsoft Teams is added advantage.
  • Contribute to develop Run standards with Design Authority and Drive Innovation along with Suppliers in the ecosystem.
  • Analyze facilities bandwidth requirements and system interdependencies along with other IT towers. Contribute to capacity planning models.
  • Drive efficiency and reduce the Operating cost of the Infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with business partners and the various IT functional areas to prioritize projects, and develop and implement system plans that address the functional requirements of the business, and adhere to established strategic business and systems objectives
