Role Overview

The Security Master user is responsible for managing and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of security master data within Enterprise Security Master platform (Preferable Aladdin Platform). This role ensures that security information is up-to-date, complete, and consistent across the system.

Key Responsibilities

1. Security Master Data Management

• Creating and maintaining security master records on the firm’s enterprise reference data platform Aladdin using Refinitive and other applications.
• Analyze sources of data, data feeds, attributes for processing
• Analyze ongoing data changes, impact on application and defines solution for developers to implement
• Maintain and update security master data, including security identifiers (ISIN, CUSIP, SEDOL), names, descriptions, and other relevant details.
• Ensure data consistency and accuracy across the platform.

2. Data Validation

• Verify security data against external sources and internal validation rules.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies or errors.

3. Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., traders, portfolio managers, risk managers).
• Provide security master data support and guidance to users.

4. Quality Control and Auditing

• Perform regular data quality checks.
• Identify and address data issues or discrepancies.

Skills and Qualifications

1. Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Aladdin platform (Security Master module).
• Knowledge of security master data concepts and best practices.
• Familiarity with data management and validation principles.

2. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify errors.

3. Communication and Interpersonal Skills

• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

4. Education and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in security master data management or related field.
