Job Description

Job Responsibilities: 


• Monitor and Analyze Security Alerts: Assist in monitoring and responding to security alerts from various security tools.


 • Support Security Operations: Provide support for security operations tasks, perform security assessments including the review of log files and security event reports. 


• Security Awareness: Contribute to security awareness training programs to educate employees about best practices and potential threats. 


• Collaboration: Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure security measures are integrated into all systems and operations.


• Threat Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats and attack vectors. Support the team in threat hunting and analysis. 


• Incident Response: Assist in identifying, investigating, and mitigating security incidents or breaches.


 • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of security policies, procedures, and incident reports. Qualifications and Skills: 


• Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered. 


• Technical Skills: 


1. Basic understanding of security principles & technologies. 


2.Experience with or exposure to security tools. 


3. Familiarity with security frameworks and methodologies.  


4. Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and network protocols. 


• Soft Skills: 


1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 


2.Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy. 


3. Good verbal and written communication skills. 


4.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.


 Preferred Experience


• 0-2 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related IT field (internships or relevant projects can be considered). 


• Experience with basic cybersecurity tools or previous exposure to a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment. 


• Hands-on experience with any CyberSecurity or IT troubleshooting tools.


 • Security Certifications a plus
