We are seeking a talented individual to join our Career Digital team at Mercer. This role will be based in Pune/GGN/Noida. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Analyst II / Senior Analyst II - Workday Practice(D1/ D2)
What can you expect?
We are looking to hire Analyst II / Senior Analyst II - Workday Practice – D1/D2 in Digital Solutions, Career; India COE and expect the candidate to:
- Build complex Workday integrations with minimum guidance and own work assignments for end-to-end project delivery.
- Multi-task and engage on multiple projects at a time.
- Plan and prioritize work for self, assist lead by providing inputs on in all the phases of delivery lifecycle, report work status and highlight risks if any on a timely manner.
- Lead / Manage – Small implementation projects / Launch implementations, manage work assignments for the project team and assist team in all the phases of delivery lifecycle, collate and report status/impediments with the greater project team
- Coordinate with the EM / PM and Client for project delivery
- Provide leadership and key stakeholders with the information and venues to make effective, timely decisions

- Independently own integration design, development and testing tasks.
- Identify scope, scope gaps & get them addressed
- Identify right stakeholders in the project
- Communicate & collaborate with project internal / external stakeholders for project success
- Mentor and coach team members
- Being flexible to work in multiple time zones, multiple teams
- Drive Ops excellence culture and lead transformational project(s) with clear visible and measurable impact
- Responsible for driving initiatives and ensuring results with a confined focus on timelines and quality
- Integration Requirements - Investigate the business/technical requirements for the Workday solution, work collaboratively with business analysts and architects to clarify requirements and to achieve a consensus on the client’s needs and priorities.
- Design and document the Workday solution to meet the integration needs.
- Integration development using Workday provided tools – Developing the integration between Workday and client HR technology solutions / platforms
- Conducting sessions with client personnel to verify the required aspects of the integration builds
- Application Testing – Assist clients with the testing of the delivered solution / integrations and work with client team to suggest/identify testing scenarios.
- Production Rollout – Assist with the rollout of the Workday solution into the production environment.
- Production Support – Includes the practices and disciplines of supporting the Workday solution for a period of time post deployment.
- Act as co-lead/support integration lead for smooth functioning of the project.
- Take timely, appropriate action to address stakeholder needs/expectations
- Identify and manage issue resolution including escalation as needed
- Interact and communicate effectively with mid and senior level management
- Works with senior level management for understanding the future priorities and plans
- Develop & manage communication plans with stakeholders aimed at improved collaboration
- Leverage synergies between global information systems
- Contribute towards building knowledge repositories and conduct knowledge sharing sessions
What you need to have:
- Education : B.E /B.Tech /MCA /BSc.
- Should be Workday Integrations Core Certified
- Minimum 5 years’ experience
- Excellent technical & functional skills across functional areas required for developing and delivering Integrations across client implementation
- Good knowledge on integration patterns, APIs, XML, XSLT and data transformation techniques
- Excellent inter personal and communication skills
- Adaptability to learn new skills
- Self-driven
- Manage multiple projects & teams
- Experience with Workday Project Lifecycle and various Integration approaches
- Experience with common integration problems, such as data handshaking between different systems, security and various implementation approaches
- Strong knowledge of Workday Studio, Payroll Interfaces and other complex integration solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Web Services and solution design approach around them
- Strong knowledge on working with data exchange formats like XML, JSON and data transformation using XSLT
- Knowledge of HR, Benefits and Payroll systems
- Experience developing multiple integrations to/from HR/Benefits/Payroll applications
- Self-motivated and ability to learn quickly through individual research and self-training.
- Ability to absorb new technologies and features quickly
- Ability to train users in a classroom setting
- Effective knowledge transfer skills in non-classroom environment.
- Passion for customer service.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain a home office for remote work.
- Experience with integration using Web Service toolkits or platforms (WSDL consumer).
