Position Summary


Description & Requirements


The Analyst II – Ethics & Compliance performs tasks essential to supporting the KHC Ethics & Compliance team execute on risk analysis and help coordination with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and client service. The Analyst II – Ethics & Compliance will be primarily responsible for responding to due diligence requests received from KHC’s internal and external business partners, and ensuring that ensures KHC screens Third Party Business Partners to minimize bribery and corruption risk for the company.


Technical Competence:


  • Support the Ethics & Compliance team by executing KHCs third party due diligence playbook, including completion of necessary paperwork, checking documentation for completeness, and working with internal and external business partners to correct errors, all within established timeliness standards
  • Support Ethics & Compliance team with daily tasks needed throughout the diligence process such as data collection, status updates, and financial and risk analysis as well as coordination with internal and external business partners
  • Utilize open source and subscription-based research tools to identify and analyze adverse media, enforcement actions and other events involving the KHC’s existing and prospective third-party relationships which could present a corruption, fraud, or reputational risk to the company
  • Draft due diligence reports that succinctly summarize findings and a recommended course of action
  • Ensure appropriate tracking and documentation for all due diligence requests
  • Manage key relationships with compliance managers and subject matter experts
  • Maintain quality service standards and organization to assure timely completion of tasks both internally and externally
  • Evaluating suspicious transactions flagged by KHC systems and following up with internal and external business partners as necessary
  • Working with the KHC Ethics & Compliance team to identify trends and proper deployment of resources using data generated by the program
  • Attend meetings; maintain relevant playbooks and procedures for handling due diligence requests
  • Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned
  • Required to work shifts to overlap with US time zones to conduct client meetings and as job duties demand

Qualifications:


  • 3+ years in operating in a fast paced environment with experience in Risk or Compliance functions
  • Strong knowledge of Antibribery/Anticorruption (ABAC) and Third Party Due Diligence (TPDD) principles
  • Recognized professional qualification(s): CA/CIA/CCEP/GRC/CFE/CAMS is preferred
  • Strong understanding of business processes, ethics & compliance processes and governance, risk, and compliance
  • Familiarity with research tools such as Dow Jones Risk & Compliance database and Factiva
  • Familiarity with the US regulatory environment, including anti-corruption regulations such as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and US anti-money laundering regulations, as well as knowledge of US and international economic sanctions regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to analyze data effectively, efficiently, and accurately
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional demeanor with ability to interact with all levels of management
  • Proficiency with Excel, Visio, Word, and other MS Office applications
  • Proven ability to work effectively with virtual teams, to set realistic deadlines, and to effectively manage one’s own time and priorities to meet those deadlines including regular communication and updates to the KHC retained team
  • Proven analytical skills; working knowledge of data analysis and business intelligence tools is a plus (PowerBI, Tableau)
  • Be an energetic individual that is deadline driven, with the ability to maintain a positive attitude, embrace change and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Should be able to work well under pressure and be accustomed to project work with tight deadlines.
  • Strong project management, organizational and planning skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
