JD for General Accounting and Reporting:
- Accounting knowledge: Should be strong in end-to-end General accounting knowledge
- Financial reporting: Experienced in Preparing VAT reporting, financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss statement
- MIS Reporting: Ageing Report, Collection Stats Report, Bespoke Reports
- Reconciliations: Should have a very good knowledge on reconciliations like BRS, Vendor, Customer, Payments
- Billing: Experience in customer billing and cash postings
- Journal postings: Accruals, prepayments, deferred
- Month-end close Activities: Book closing, prepare Financial Reporting
- Payments: Should know about the client payments and refund
- Asset Management/Real Estate Management Knowledge is an added advantage
- Financial compliance: Ensuring compliance with financial reporting and other accounting procedures
- Query handling Capability: Detailed investigation should be done and provide accurate resolutions to the queries
- Staying up to date: Keeping informed of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting
- Additional skillset: Attention to detail, Data analytical, good accounting knowledge, and Proficiency in using accounting software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Microsoft Office (MS Office): ability to use applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Communication skills: Should be good in both written and oral English communication
- Should be Flexible to work in different shifts/time zone
- Flexibility: Should be flexible to work in different shifts/time zones and ready to extend during month-end close
- Working Model: Should be flexible in a working model, work from the office (Full-time/Hybrid)
- Explore for continuous process improvements and share best practices across teams.
- Contribute to team metrics by achieving stated productivity and accuracy goals daily
- Coordinating with external clients and internal stakeholders via email to resolve the issues
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in accounting
- 3-6 years relevant business experience
- Good interpersonal skills and team player
- Good communication skills (verbal and written, good command of the English Language)
- Understanding of accounting concepts and principles
- Target-oriented with a strong focus.
- Experience in F&A applications [SAP, Oracle, any other ERP and MS Office applications]
- Decision-making, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Eye for detail and accuracy
- Good Attitude coupled with the flexibility to work with the team and flexibility to work on any shifts.
