Job Responsibilities:


·       Provide expert advisory on AML/KYC compliance, ensuring compliance with relevant Indian laws/regulations (Master Direction on KYC, Master Direction of Credit and Debit Card etc.).


·       Stay updated on RBI, PMLA and other prevailing regulations to ensure regulatory adherence across business operations.


·       Advise on the impact of new and evolving AML regulations.


·       Work on regulatory change management (RCM) projects, track the development and liaise with multiple functional teams to ensure compliance and implementation.


·       Advise and decision on the Issue Management events which affect the AML/KYC framework.


·       Identify, escalate and track risks / issues in a timely manner. Perform various risk assessments for the business and interpreting the same for the broader audience.


·       Collaborate with oversight team and business partners to address identified gaps and working towards finding a sustainable solution.


·       Working knowledge of Sanction Screening, Customer Onboarding, EDD and Transaction Monitoring process.


·       Provide accurate information to various audit teams in a detailed and organized way.


·       Ensuring effectiveness of the Compliance program and maintaining best in class Compliance culture within AEBC.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience:


·       Good Academic qualification preferably CA/MBA/LLB, relevant certifications will have an additional advantage. Experience in AML/KYC, advisory and regulatory compliance is must. Must have 8+ years of experience. 


·       Decent knowledge of regulations issued by RBI to Commercial Banks and Payment Operators wrt to AML/KYC.


·       Self-motivated, dependable, adaptable and detail oriented with a proven ability to work independently or within team environment.


·       Must have knowledge of applicable Laws and Regulations and understanding of relevant enterprise-wide and local policies and standards with the ability to interpret & apply them.


·       Effective collaborative skills that contribute to positive working relationships with peers as well as counterparts in Compliance and the business.


·       Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and ensuring timely guidance to business partners.


·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with senior management.


·       Decent MS office knowledge: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
