About the Department


Accounting & Finance department is a part of GBS General Management Bangalore. Our focus is on establishing strong GBS Governance, compliance, and processes based on the Novo Nordisk Way. We believe that these are prerequisites to fulfilling our strategic ambitions and nurturing a strong culture that will upgrade our local operations.


The position


As an Analyst at Novo Nordisk, you will handle Direct and Indirect taxation. Your responsibilities also include the following tasks:


  • Ensure compliance by finalizing monthly computations, filing TDS and GST returns, and reviewing non-TDS transactions.
  • Manage tax assessments, statutory audits, tax audits, transfer pricing, and group audits.
  • Review of LWT workings, filing, and follow-up with the consultant & Tax authorities.
  • Provide audit support, including statutory, internal, and group audits.
  • Communicate effectively with external stakeholders such as auditors, tax advisors, and governmental agencies, as well as internal stakeholders like HQ, Finance GBS.
  • Proactively suggest and implement improvement initiatives focusing on simplicity and automation.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance and accounts with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in an international company.
  • The ability to take initiative and possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks.
  • Skills to drive LEAN and Operational Excellence initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written in English.
